Where to Play Pickleball in Tokyo, Osaka, or Kobe

Pick the city by the price and the roof. Nanko in Osaka is ¥500 for one court, for one hour, on a weekday. If it is raining, use an indoor court in Kobe or Ikebukuro. The rules are in the beginner's guide. Hours, night rates, and the booking link sit on the city page. Every figure here was on the venue's own site on 4 November 2026.

Take Nanko if the price is the point. That slot appears at noon, one month before you play. For rain, use the next two prices.

Tokyo

Sansan's indoor full court in Ikebukuro is ¥5,500 on a November 2026 weekday from 6:00 to 18:00. A December booking for the same hours is ¥7,000. Toyosu and Ariake are outdoor, ¥6,000 on a weekday until 18:00. Walks, night rates, and booking pages are on the Tokyo courts page.

Osaka

Nanko Central Tennis Courts has four outdoor courts. Weekdays are ¥500, weekends and holidays ¥800. From 1 November to 30 April they close at 17:00, and Mondays are shut from November through March. You cannot reserve by phone. The Sakai court, and the drive, are on the Osaka courts page.

Kobe

Both courts are indoors. The dedicated courts a 2-minute walk from Shin-Nagata are ¥4,400 an hour, and Friday ends at 17:00. Nishi-ku is ¥3,300 until 17:00 on a weekday, and booking opens two months ahead. Directions and rental gear are on the Kobe courts page.

Kyoto

Kyoto Pickleball Training Center is indoors in Hatsukashi, Fushimi. It is not outside a station. From Hankyu Nagaoka-Tenjin, the bus is about 10 minutes, then a 2-minute walk from Kogyo Danchi-mae. Weekdays run 10:00–25:00, weekends and holidays 9:00–25:00. The pickleball court is ¥4,400 an hour for a visitor and ¥2,750 for a member. The same price list has an indoor A court at ¥11,000 for a visitor, so read the court name on the booking screen. Reserve on the booking page. You need an account.
